Shelly

I grew up in Elyria, Ohio, with my twin brothers and my parents. After high school I went to Ohio State, where Nate and I met and started dating. While Nate was in seminary I worked as an occupational therapist at Baylor Rehab in Dallas. We came to work at the University of Michigan in 1999, right before our first child was born.

I received Jesus Christ into my life when I was six years old. A missionary couple spoke at our church’s Wednesday night children’s program and I realized my need to accept the gift of Christ paying the penatly that I owed for my sin.

Now we have 4 children who bring much adventure to our lives! Oh, and the cat! We homeschool and I am involved in directing Cubbies at our church. I enjoy garage sales, knitting, the Wii, and the rare chances that I get to scrapbook.
