A little about Nate

I was born in Springfield, Ohio to Bill and Kathy. I received Jesus Christ into my life when I was 5 years old.

I attended Springfield Christian Schools, then went to Springfield North High School. I spent much of my time in high school playing football or lifting weights for football. I graduated from North in 1990. I attended college at The Ohio State University. I received my BA in Political Science in 1994.

At Ohio State I got involved with Campus Crusade for Christ. I also met Shelly through Campus Crusade. We both lived in Taylor Tower and we began dating at the end of my freshman year. We dated all the way through college and got married after I graduated.

We moved to Dallas, Texas where I attended Dallas Theological Seminary. I received my Master of Theology in 1998 from DTS.

We joined the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ in the summer of 1998 and reported to our ministry here at the University of Michigan in August of 1999. Andrew, was born February 17, 2000; Lauren was born September 8, 2001; Lindsey was born December 27, 2003; and Caleb was born March 20, 2006.
