Science & God

The picture on this page is the newest outreach tool for Campus Crusade at the University of Michigan. It is taken from a website developed by students involved in our ministry at Michigan. It is a resource for students who have questions about the compatibility of God, the Bible, and science.
If you have internet access you can look at this site at the following address: http://www.umich.edu/~issues

"The Event" section provides information about an upcoming outreach on campus February 3. Dr. Walter Bradley, a professor and Senior TEES Research Fellow in mechanical engineering at Texas A&M University, will be challenging students to consider the overwhelming evidence from modern science for the existence of God.
In the "Resources" section students are given a list of resources they can access through the internet related to science, Christianity, apologetics, and the Campus Crusade ministry at Michigan.

In the "What Do You Think" section students have an opportunity to answer and ask questions related to God as Creator of the universe. Students who answer the questions on the page have an opportunity to be entered in a drawing for a $50 gift certificate to Borders bookstore. There is also a way for students to let us know if they would like more information on this subject or if they would like to talk to someone about these issues.

It is our hope that through this outreach and through this website we will have the opportunity to present the truth of God, who created us, loves us, and died for us, to many students at UM. Please pray that God will use this outreach to bring many students into a saving relationship with Himself.

Personal Notes

Our progress in raising our support has been a little slower than we would like this past month. Please pray that we would be able to set up many appointments and find many more people who want to join our support team.

Shelly is excited to be done with her New Testament Survey class -- the last thing she needed to complete from this summer's training.
